Settings
One setting turns the whole layer down or off.
She is on when you install the app, and one setting turns her down or off. The rest of LifeNotes behaves identically either way, because no task, habit, note, or reminder sits behind the companion.
Game layer holds three positions
Look for Game layer in your app settings.
| Setting | What you get |
|---|---|
| Full | All of it. Coins, the sheet, the Daily Set, the Focus Ladder, the Workshop, the Play Meter, and the long-run collectables. |
| Minimal | The sheet and the Ledger. No tapping, no Daily Set, no extras. Your completions still pay Coins. |
| Off | The app behaves the way it did before any of this arrived. |
Off means off
Off is a real setting rather than a hidden screen. Completions stop paying Coins, the sheet vanishes from the companion page, and no companion notification fires.
Your balance and your levels survive. Switch back to Full months later and your Coins, your row levels, your slots, and your Ledger are where you left them.
Companion notifications stop at one a day
The one that fires has to name an item that is genuinely undone. Your existing reminder preferences sit on top of that.
- The sleep window stays quiet.
- Minimized notifications stay minimized until you say otherwise.
- Streaks at risk and missing-you copy never appear, at any setting.
Pro renames either counter
Pro subscribers can rename either counter, and every label in the app follows.
| Counter | Names to pick from |
|---|---|
| Coins | Coins, Tickets, Stars, Treats |
| Keys | Keys, Tokens, Passes |
Companion progress rides in your backups
It rides along with the rest of your data. A reinstall or a restore brings back your Coins, your row levels, your slots, and your Ledger.
Not yet Moving it straight from one device to another is not built yet. A backup and restore carries it across today.
A companion reset leaves your tasks alone
The reset screen carries a Companion game option. It clears the Coins, Keys, row levels, slots, room layout, and the companion half of the Ledger, and it leaves your tasks, habits, notes, goals, Points, and rewards store alone.
