Coins follow finished work
Does opening the app earn anything?
No. She never pays for time spent in LifeNotes. No login streak, no session bonus. See Coins.
Can I just make lots of small tasks?
You would earn less than doing fewer real ones. Tasks pay 2 Coins each to the eighth, 1 each to the twelfth, nothing after, with a soft 120 limit on the day as well. Ten real tasks beat thirty invented ones.
Is tapping her worth doing?
Six Coins a day, which is what three tasks pay. Tap her because she reacts, not for the money. See the Play Meter.
What happens if I uncheck something?
The Coins come straight back off, the same way Points already do. Set and weekly bonuses stay paid.
Why did today pay less than yesterday for the same work?
You crossed the 120 limit, after which everything pays a quarter. Or you passed your eighth task, after which tasks taper. Filter the Ledger by source and it will tell you which.
Zones decide what a row can reach
Why can I not buy the next level on a row?
The matching life zone is not high enough yet. The locked pip names that zone, its level, and how many completions remain. See locked rows.
Can I buy my way past a locked row?
No, at any price. It is the only wall here, and it exists so the sheet stays a record of what you actually did.
My zone has been stuck at level 1 for weeks.
Check whether you have a habit in that zone at all. An empty zone never rises, however long you wait. One habit kept for a month takes it from 1 to 7.
I archived a zone. Did I lose the row?
No. The row freezes at the level you bought and shows as archived. Restore the zone and it unfreezes. Nothing refunded, nothing deleted.
Money buys width and never progress
Can I buy Coins?
No. Finishing things is the only source.
What can I actually buy?
Keys, which open characters, sets of looks, rooms, and forms. Also a one-off starter pack and Pro. See store and prices.
Do I need Pro for the companion?
No. Everything in this guide works without it. Pro adds a few exclusive characters and lets you rename Coins and Keys.
Do I get anything for rating the app?
No, and that will not change. Google Play policy forbids it, and no app can find out what you rated it anyway. The in-app feedback form pays a Key instead.
If I reinstall, do I keep what I bought?
Yes. Unlocks and balances ride along in your backups.
Not yet Moving the companion straight from one device to another is not built yet. A backup and restore carries everything across today.
Nothing you built is taken back
Will she leave if I stop playing?
Both gauges have to sit empty for three full days first, and a window follows in which she comes back. None of that got harsher on arrival, and a high Health row slows it further.
Will she change into something else?
Not unless you pick it. A form is a slot, and every form you unlock stays available forever. See slots and looks.
Does a bad week cost me anything I built?
No Coins, no row levels, no slots, no trophies, no keepsakes. A bad week touches your habit streaks alone, and even those lose a day rather than resetting.
Why does feeding her pay nothing?
Care feeds bond experience, and bond raises the bonus on every Point award. Coins stay out of it because a payout you can tap on demand turns the button into the job.
Do two companions mean twice the tapping?
No. A household shares one set of gauges. One bowl, one play session, and one pat covers everybody.
She can be switched off entirely
How do I turn the companion off?
The Game layer setting has three positions: Full, Minimal, Off. Off returns the app to the way it was before any of this arrived, and nothing you earned is deleted. See settings.
Will it notify me constantly?
She sends one a day at the very most. It fires only when a real undone item needs naming, it stays out of the sleep window, and it never mentions a streak being at risk.
Is any part of LifeNotes locked behind the companion?
No. Tasks, habits, notes, goals, trackers, reminders, and the rewards store all behave identically with the companion turned off.
