Coins

Every Coin traces back to something you finished.

Coins are the everyday currency. Every single one traces back to something you finished, and they buy nothing outside her sheet and her room.

Earn, hold, spend

Work on the left, wallet in the middle, purchases on the right.

Earn, hold, spend

Both limits live in the middle column and reset on your local calendar day.

Every source carries its own limit

Momentum is the habit multiplier you already have. It climbs from 1.0 to 2.5 as a habit gets consistent. A habit at the top of that range pays seven Coins where a shaky one pays three.

Showing up earns nothing

Four things earn you zero, and none of them are an oversight.

  • Opening the app pays nothing, because showing up is not work.
  • Writing a note or setting a reminder pays nothing, since neither has a finish line.
  • A daily login streak is not something she keeps.
  • Feeding, playing and patting feed bond instead, because paying Coins for a button you can tap on demand turns the button into the job.

Only one limit can stop a purchase

A day runs into four limits, and only the last of them actually blocks anything.

  • The soft limit of 120 blocks nothing when you cross it. Everything past it pays a quarter, which still leaves a huge day ahead of a normal one.
  • Task tapering pays two Coins each to the eighth task, one each to the twelfth and zero after, which is why ten real tasks out-earn twenty invented ones.
  • Passive earning holds to a fifth, because the Workshop and the Play Meter together stop at 20% of what your real work has been paying across the last seven days.
  • Your life zones cap every row, because no Coin balance pushes a row past what its zone allows. See locked rows.

Coins reach her sheet and nothing else

Everything on this list is either cosmetic or affects her alone. No purchase reaches your tasks, habits, notes, or Points.

PurchasePriceTo own all of it
Row levels25 for level 1, then 20 more per level to 2051,150 per row, 8,050 for seven
Slot unlocksHat 300, Bowl 300, Bed 450, Backdrop 6001,650
Slot tiers20, 30, 40, 50, 60 for tiers 1 to 5200 per slot, 1,600 for eight
Room objects60 to 200 each, 24 to collect2,640
Shield charges150 each, two a month at mostongoing

That comes to 14,000 Coins of things to buy. A steady pace clears it in eight and a half months, and the long-run collectables take over from there.

Unticking takes the Coins back

It works exactly the way it already does with Points. Tick, untick, tick again and you have earned nothing.

Two edges fall in your favor. Set and weekly bonuses stay paid even if you untick an item later, and an award paid at the quarter rate comes back at full value once the day's totals have shifted. Your balance never drops below zero.

Coins are not for sale

You cannot buy Coins at any price, in any bundle, or later on. Her sheet records what you did, and a credit card has nothing to add to that record.

Money buys width: another character, another set of looks, another room. All three run on Keys, and the prices page puts everything for sale in one table.
