The Play Meter
Twenty taps fill the bar, and after three fills she plays for free.
Twenty taps fill the bar
Tap her and the bar under her gains a notch. Twenty of them fill it. A full bar hands over 2 Coins and a burst of happiness, then empties ready to go again.
Three fills a day comes to sixty taps and six Coins, which is what three tasks pay. Six is enough that tapping feels like it counts, and small enough that a minute of it never beats a minute of real work.
Try it
The real rules are running below: twenty taps a fill, 2 Coins a fill, three fills, a find rolled on every tap. Keep going past the third fill.
Tap the pad. The interesting part starts once the day's fills are gone.
Every tap writes a line
She keeps playing past the third fill
She keeps playing. Every tap still earns a jump, a run, a swipe at whatever toy she has on, or the occasional startle, and the happiness still lands.
Only the payout stops. No message appears, nothing dims, nothing tells you to come back tomorrow. Keep tapping if you enjoy it. Walk away if you were here for the Coins.
Finds arrive on any tap
Every tap carries a small chance of turning something up, whether the meter pays or not.
- Finds are decor tokens and small Coin bonuses. You can read the full list before your first tap.
- Money cannot buy the chance, boost it, or reroll it.
- The Ledger prints your finds per hundred taps, where you can check the real rate for yourself.
Vitality shortens a fill and Spiritual raises the payout
Leveling Vitality shortens each fill, which brings the same three fills down to fewer taps. Leveling Spiritual raises what a fill pays.
Neither touches the three-fill limit. A handful of Coins is the most this ever pays in a day, at every level.
